3MF is a groundbreaking CAD file format designed specifically for 3D printing. 3MF - 3D Manufacturing Format - optimizes accuracy and performance by enabling faster part prototyping, communication of true design fidelity, and reduces errors in production.
3MF incorporates extension information for color, materials, slices, beam lattice, and IP/security further expanding its capabilities and value. It also offers interoperability across all CAD software and 3D printers utilized in additive manufacturing for a seamless workflow.
Collaborating with the Executive Director of the 3MF Consortium, I conceptualized a brand identity refresh for the format and, consequently, for the organization dedicated to promoting this new gold standard.
